9th Gen Accord, V6 model, especially the coupe.
Buy a Honda. No option packages. Driver Assist (Honda Sensing) models are considered a separate trim level.
Yes. Civic competes with Corolla. And having driven both (don’t ask), the Civic is miles better. Only 2 reasons to get the Corolla: 1) Toyota fanboy, 2) all the safety features (TSS 2.0) on base model. Honda Sensing starts on EX, 3rd trim up.
It’s a Liftback because hatchback doors are vertical or close to it. Kia Stinger, Civic Hatchback, Prius (except Prius c) are all liftbacks. SUVs, Fit, Golf, Fiesta, etc are hatchbacks.
Totally with you. Flat bottom good. I’ve driven the current 3-Series with the padded wheel and I’m ambivalent about padding.
Backup camera needs a screen, which almost necessitates “infotainment.” Modern cars have such massive C-pillars (hence blind spots), I agree. Also, automatic braking goes hand-in-hand with adaptive cruise control.

There’s even one I sold (I won’t name names) that doesn’t have the holes and grooves in place to *offer* a cargo cover. In the urban areas many of my customers live and work, being able to hide cargo is…
I can understand the Civic Si not having power seats, but on most cars, yeah. And why doesn’t any MINI have power seats?!?
I hate that too. My grandma’s been doing it most of her life. What happens when you park on a hill, forget to pull the brake because it’s not a habit, and the locking pin for Park snaps and your car rolls away?
Not a behavior, per se, but luxury manufacturers who make you pay extra for stuff that is included on regular cars. Leather interior, heated front seats, power seats, push-button start, remote engine start, moonroof, driver-assist package.
Since the article compares a ‘99 Si to a 2018 Si, why is the 2018 car a Type R?
Don’t know if it counts, but when I park, I always put my (automatic) in Neutral, engage the parking brake, then put it in Park.
