Taika Waititi was also bizarrely in that film as Ryan Reynolds' best friend. Based on the trailer, his time in the MCU will be a lot more enjoyable for us.
God bless you, I opened this review just to read this in the comments.
I'm pretty upset by the fact that I lived in Christchurch for the better part of two decades and never found this Djinn.
Yeah, Order of the Phoenix was my introduction to the series and it was pretty dull until the climax… not being invested in the characters I thought it was a real slog about a bunch of kids that don't like their teacher and then Gary Oldman dies.
He's drummed on a lot of very good stuff, including a couple of Eno's albums (as mentioned by @failedsitcom:disqus ) and All Things Must Pass.
No, the nerds will get up in arms if they change his ethnicity to be half-Maori!
From memory, that is essentially Farrell's character's reasoning in the film.
Crowe may be an Australian but, like most of us over here, he isn't a citizen: http://www.smh.com.au/lifes…
Cliff is the straight-laced cop, Karl the loose cannon, Sam their crotchety police chief. They are invesitgating Alan Dale's real estate scam which is actually a front for a pounamu-smuggling operation.

Just googled that and made it 45 seconds in. You poor, poor bastard.
I've been told that this is already, in fact, a 'best-selling show'.
mbs, you are pretty much the only person I can think of who might have seen the third one (and I live in Australia!)… what was it like?
Ha suckers, Black Mirror: White Christmas is already on Australian/NZ Netflix… along with pretty much nothing else.
Yeah, I could start doing another toast every time I raise a glass for the rest of my life and it still wouldn't outnumber the times I've toasted 'to evil'.
Hey guys, what's your email address? I need to forward you this hilarious dancing baby that has been going round the traps here in Christchurch!
Decent Bowie soundtrack too, Strangers When We Meet is second only to Jump They Say as his best song of the 90s (though at this point I can't remember how different the BoS version is from the one on Outside), in my opinion anyway.
Do you live near Fitzroy or is this just a more common name for laundrettes in hipster suburbs than I imagined?
