Hey, even out-universe it was the better part of 7 years ago!

I started watching Steins;Gate over the weekend after getting stuck in a Wiki Wormhole following John Titor over Easter Weekend… it is some highly enjoyable, highly incomprehensible anime that makes me remember why I got into the stuff in my teens.

Wait, is Michael's stepfather actually in one of these episodes? I have no memory of any of Michael's family being on screen ever, unless you count the disembodied voice of his mother on the telephone.

It's nice, but really not what I would have hoped from the man I frequently drunkenly declare to be the greatest songwriter of his generation.

Has anyone thought to confirm with Colton Burpo if this is true?

More recently, Trevor Horn also produced Belle & Sebastian's brilliant Dear Catastrophe Waitress album.

City of Crime? I was introduced to that song/video on TOS after Rabin's entry on that film for his 'Forgotbusters' feature and spent the day giggling about it. Tom Hank's enthusiastic, 4th Beastie Boy-esque delivery absolutely makes that track.

My best friend will be 30 in October and yet his favourite joke remains

Wow, this is a wiki wormhole I went down myself recently! I'm not entirely sure why but I do adore this story.

Like @Lt. Broccoli:disqus mentions above, it's a show that I grew up with and always remember being part of my life.

Same deal in NZ with the delayed telecasts and Bart the Genius is the first I remember too… but, like @ltbroccoli:disqus mentions above, it's a show that I grew up with and always remember being part of my life.

Here's an idea: how about you suggest to your spouse that you have a threesome with the person you're cheating on them with! I can't think of any way that could go wrong…

“She’s very divorceable. As soon as you meet her, you can't wait to take her to court and divorce her.”

Nor Australia, alas.

I was really disappointed by this special but I am really stoked it existed because it means we get one last review from Caroline and one last massive quote fest in the comments!

Yeah, I don't understand why The Tourist gets a + but From Hell gets a - where The Tourist was shit and From Hell was at least interesting, if an awful adaptation of the source material.

aaaaaand that is in my head all day. Great song!

I'm a big Jane Campion fan (and a big Ben Whislaw fan) but found Bright Star incredibly dull… Schneider is definitely the best part of it though.

Hey, SeaQuest DSV wasn't everyone's cup of tea but you shouldn't hate Roy Schneider just for that!

Vera said that?
