There was always a bit of acrimony between the Flying Nun set and The Swingers that I never quite understood. I guess it could be something to do with that whole 'sell-out' thing but, at least based on the Flying Nun band members I know from that era ([/humblebrag]) that really doesn't seem to be their deal.

His cover of It's Hard to Be a Saint in the City is incredible too. His 70s crush on Springsteen was pretty adorable in general.
You joke but the Australian government's "Let Andy be Andy!" initiative has led to a record amount of easily-avoided bootings over the past year.
Your work reminds me of Samuel Beckett.
I quote that bit so often "Surely you RECKON something, tell us what you RECKON…"
I was watching Walking with the Dinosaurs once and my fundamentalist Christian uncle came into the room and decried it as 'evolutionist propaganda' and claimed that 'if we made a series called Walking with Adam & Eve' it would be ridiculed by the media. I told him I needed script approval before I'd sign on to any…
They're saving that title for the Superman/Stalin team-up in the Red Son adaptation.
"People like Coldplay and voting for the Nazis. You can't trust people, Jeremy."

Yeah, same with me… seems to be a very Australian thing. This place came with an oven and a dryer (just what you need during the Australian summer) and nothing else.
Oh wow, I seemed to have gone for the wrong Big Finish 8th Doctor audio adventures… I've just started at the season that begins with the (pretty excellent) Blood of the Dalek's and continued with (the average-ish) Horror of Glam Rock and Immortal Beloved. Still, love Paul McGann as The Doctor.
I just moved house so I was crazy busy on Saturday morning driving around Melbourne picking up things like a fridge, washing machine, table & chairs and couches. After moving all of those into the apartment I really want to see this lease out (at least) and not be moving again in another 3 months. Saw Xavier College…
Yes, this woman has serious mental problems because 'feminism'. Well done, @disqus_rVa4SKTUul:disqus, I'm glad we had our best man on this one.
I was a victim of the redesign/nudisqus stuff (wouldn't work on work browser), until this morning where someone pointed out to me that I can just download Chrome. In my defense, this is my first job in many years outside of the public sector where things like 'downloading' and 'up-to-date software' are verboten!
