Consider that a light coating of frost on a wing surface is sufficient to disrupt airflow and increase stall speed. I would hate to image the condition of that elevator surface.

I share my daily driving between an e39 M5 and e30 318is, and although the 4 cyl is a bit timid compared to the M, the combination of sound, response, and lightweight, make it a ton of fun, without getting in too much trouble. A wide open throttle pull through the gears in the e30 and you are still in legal speed…

Going through private pilot training, we of course had to do all flight planning manually, calculating fuel burns, ground speeds, wind correction angles, etc. Now as a certified pilot, to a large degree I relegate these duties to flight software on the iPad.
