“Made him” is an awfully strong word to use there. “Contributed to the likelihood that he would” might be fairer to the people who were molested as a child that somehow managed to avoid perpetuating it as an adult.

Disgraceful characterization to thots everywhere
52% of white women voted for him.
OOh God now I want Trump to fuck an intern and get caught up in that scandal heavily, see how the Republicans AND the mullets handle it when THEIR pres diddles around in the oval office. That would be so wonderfully spectacular and almost poetic irony.
So you cool with appropriating from black culture but you draw the line when it gets too close to your I-talian heritage?
Do you remember when Saul Williams played Lynn’s boyfriend on Girlfriends? He was always the prototype for the woke brotherfriend I had to ensnare.
When he said they’re lucky they came across this one, it’s because most times they find the truck with dead people or the empty truck with no clue what happened to the people inside. He’s not patting himself on the back but happy they found survivors.
I’m replying because I’m sick of idiots like you saying ‘they should’ve come here legally.’ You have no idea what you’re talking about whatsoever.
“Fortunately, we came across this one”
Mackenzie: gotta be a 25-35 year old?
You think social services can reliably support poor parents such that their children escape the negative outcomes associated with growing up poor? I think that is very plainly not true.
One day when we were kids, my 3 year old brother woke up around 5am. For some reason, his little half-asleep brain thought that the house was empty, and that we’d left him all alone. So he left the house to go to a friend’s house a couple blocks away, which honestly was a pretty good instinct for a tiny little guy.
Oh it definitely is about race once you look closer. Just like most racism you have to look past the surface to see its tendrils snaking its way around. What I described is just the mechanics of a removal but none of what leads up to the primary situation and what goes on under the surface.
Even uglier it seems the state of SD has been using Native kids to make $ - SD classifies each Native foster kid as ‘special needs’ and because of that they get extra money from the feds for each kid. It’s grotesque. Flies right in the face of ICWA.
After having my own kids get rung through the system for something that happened to them I am VERY wary of social services. My kids were the victims in this scenario and yet we had these people in our lives multiple times a week making both of our kids miserable in a way that I didn’t know was possible. My daughter…
Agreed. I just read an article about an experimental treatment that reversed brain damage on a (white) 2 year old who fell into a pool while her mother was in the shower. She almost died from drowning, but I didn’t see anything about her being taken away from her parents (not that I necessarily think she should have…
Taken into care for slipping out of the house while mom was in the bathroom? What the hell? I’m pretty sure this happens to like, 75% of parents at some point or another, excluding those rich enough to afford round the clock nannies. I babysat kids in the summers while their moms worked when I was in high school , and…
Great article. My only concern is that people don’t focus on the poverty aspect and not the race aspect.
“Existing while black” has reached cartoonish levels.
