That is indeed the answer. I always wonder about this shit too, and I honestly think people who make less than $100k and do things like spend $5k on a weekend festival are a) not saving any of their money for anything and/or b) living on credit cards. And maybe not paying rent.
They, like, literally live off daddy’s checks.
Truth. The nonchalant putting $500 on a wrist band, and I’m working 50 hours a week with a master’s degree and sometimes wonder how we’re getting groceries.
Whenever I read stories like this in the world, I wonder how on earth people my age or younger can just go and willy nilly drop $2000 on something like this. Our household income is twice the median and anything over $200 is a ‘is this ok? Can we do this?’ type of purchase. I always wonder what these people do for a…
like, this was my rent, which I just spent on this thing that’s not happening.
“You had Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner promoting it,”
Like, why would anyone try to actually scam us?
I think the bandana was suppose to indicate where he wished his penis to reach down to.
Don’t shit where you eat. Please. Your work spouse is about half as attractive as you think they are once the mystery/secrecy/danger is gone. Everyone is their better, more attractive self in a professional environment. The excruciating awkwardness of showing up for work the next morning and feeling like everyone…
Trump had them all deported. Damn birds flew here illegally.
Well, there’s also this difference: Patients Cared For By Female Doctors Fare Better Than Those Treated By Men
I generally side with photographers (and writers and freelancers in the arts who generally get screwed by clients) but street photos/paparazzi have always been confusing to me. If I didn’t give you permission to take my picture but you take it anyway, and then I find it and like it so I post it, you can sue me for…
I attend a UMC church, and it’s completely accepting of LGBT people. Our pastor frequently talks about how discrimination against LGBT people is as shameful as discrimination against blacks in the past, and we need to put an end to it in our organization. We’re part of the Reconciling Ministries Network (http://www.rmn…
Yeah. I mean we are definitely talking about two distinctly different sets of circumstances here but I have always had a pooch (and no kids). It’s definitely the first thing that touches my husband when we hug or dance, and I have a hard enough time not thinking of it as an “indignity.” :(
There’s actually a huge split in the Methodist Church, to be fair. A significant portion is super liberal, a significant portion is not. They almost split when I was in high school over the issue, but ultimately stayed together. I think it’s coming to a head again though.
Thank you. What the actual fuck? There’s probably an Episcopal church across the street.
I think its more like... those who study religion can understand the religion itself doesn’t hate them, but a lot of humans (who generally are shitty anyhow) do.
*note, I’m not a Christian, but I’m a liberal religious person (Jewish, thanks fro asking)... so my feelings on religion, and such, are sometimes together…
My father’s a Methodist. He thinks Methodism and the Methodist church support gay people, and specifically contrasts them with churches that don’t. I’m looking forward to seeing his reaction to this article.
Man, this kind of irritates the hell out of me. I am one of those unlucky few born with a “mom pouch”. No amount of exercise, diet, or witch doctoring budges it. BUT if I had just had a baby, man, my insurance would cover it because it affects my self esteem? What an effed up insurance system we have when something…
