Every time someone says, “I would never do that,” I make them read this article. It haunts me. The description of how the child dies haunts me. I’ve never been so gutted by a piece of journalism ever.
add sleep deprivation to that as well
Was just coming here to post this. I think of that article every time the weather warms up.
I think Gene Weingartner wrote a piece on how people who completely don’t mean to do so, leave their kids in the car.
It’s also when your routine changes abruptly. Parent A usually take Little Timmy to daycare, but Parent A is sick today. Parent B decides to take Little Timmy instead, but on the way gets into rote motion of the day mode and totally forgot that they’re responsible for Little Timmy (who is quietly sleeping in the…
I do get how people can do it (which was obviously not the case in this situation). When this happens, it’s not typically when they are taking a cross-country trip with their kids, it’s when they are going through the rote motions of their day. Have you ever gotten in your car to head to ____, but gotten halfway to a…
I feel the same way, now that the asshole director finally admits what she has been saying all along, we finally believe her? Jesus. I mean, I’m not surprised, but still.
It’s strange to me that this is news now. I mean I’m glad it’s being talked about. But she said this FOREVER. Now people believe it because they heard men verify it?
Silly human. I think you meant to say that your cat has a daybed and you keep trying to encroach on his/her space. Really should know better by now that all furniture is feline furniture. ;)
These are kids; telling a trusted adult is not a “wasted step”, and it also allows her some accommodation from the school, so she doesn’t have to ride the same bus with him or whatnot. Give the girl a break- she did nothing wrong. No one can ever be a victim perfectly enough to meet everyone’s standards.
It’s Trump, the most famous “con-artist” in the world. And his biggest con still fooled millions. Sad.
Newsflash; people who can’t tell they’ve been conned surprised when it turns out they’ve been conned.
I’m glad that the law has finally stopped looking the other way with this bullshit.
And the blown out eye. That’s creepy, too.
I feel like this bus/wedding romper situation needs further discussion.
I can’t understand people over the age of 13 who still call their fathers “Daddy.” It weirds me out too.
Balthazar? Axel? Afton? That’s quite enough now, please stop.
If the tone you were going for in the Kristin Davis section was total asshole, you really nailed it.
