Having lived in Tahiti for a while, I made the Paris-Papeete flight several times (frog here) : something like 10 or so hours from Paris to California (LAX or Oakland intl, depending on airlines) for a 2h stopover, then 10 hours or so from California to the wonderful coast and warm climate of French Polynesia.
