So what have we learned from Paris? Bribe your friends to take the fall in South Africa and the authorities in Corsica....

@jshersher: Bold, yet such a simple little bit of imagery, timing, and editing. A half second more or less and it wouldn't be nearly as powerful. I can't believe a major studio let Nolan get away with that ambiguity!

@scribbles: Oops. _sewn_ cup. Not a specific name, just describing the type of manufacture. Try the "Embrace," "Feather Embroidery," "Retro Chic," or "Delicate Notion". They tend to be fuller coverage, which is a good thing for my breast shape, but do vary.

I echo the love for Wacoal. Seriously, try the sew cup styles. They have a great vintage look (that has won acclaim for sexiness from interested parties). Plus, they last forever and cause minimal back roll when sized properly. Best bras ever. TJ Maxx and Marshall's periodically get them in and sell them for a mere

Let me throw a question out there;

She is AMAZING and so inspirational!

Add this to the reasons I find Peaches incredibly ANNOYING; she is either totally ignorant of history or totally ignorant of the potential impact her actions.

While I am very happy that it has FINALLY happened, I have to say that I wish that the whole "First Woman to Win" thing wasn't played up so much because The Hurt Locker is an extraordinary film up that was up against several other phenomenal movies. Made by a woman, man, or extraterrestrial, it deserved to win. It is

First, a slight defense. Yes NYLON STINKS at getting anyone of color on the cover but they do seem to do a decent job of making it multiracial on the inside. Last month, there was a fun VV Brown piece with some lovely photos. Why didn't that get put on the front (Oh, wait. Vampires trump everything now!) They also do

@georgina: Thigh high socks are good in theory but are a pain in the ass to wear because they work their way down your leg after twenty or so steps. The only solution is to layer them over another set of tights. I know, I tried them along with most of this collection (about two sizes too big) in my 90's high school,

@the glamwich: The one problem with the argument that Taylor Swift is "young" is that Gaga is only three years older so even that doesn't hold much water!

@sweetchuck: I can't remember which one of the Sound opinions guy it is, but the one who said this is the one I usually disagree with. Anywho...

@Tchotchke: Amen on Elastica! I still listen to those albums (although Justine is apparently married to a American college professor and living in Colorado.) And Jawbox has.

It all looks so cute in the book, but we aren't seeing the clips the stylist used to make the stuff actually look like it fits the models of the myriad of loose threads handing from the seams.

And this would be why there is a ridiculously large amount of Free People stuff in my local TJ Maxx...all for $25. #freepeople
