All while conveniently ignoring that, historically, white folks are both socially and legislatively the most homophobic community in this country. But, why not continue the centuries-old trend of making black people the scapegoat for everything.

Even with all your words and charts and reports. Even when we say, “WE DON’T CARE WHERE HE PUTS HIS DICK! HIS RECORD ON RACE RELATIONS IS SHIT!!!” White people will still accuse us of homophobia for not lining up to vote for him.
“When I did lose my virginity, she was so engrossed in an episode of 20/20 that she never looked up from the TV.”
No. Because he’ll doctor shop until he finds one who’ll take his $s to do his dirty work for him.
I imagine it’s pretty easy to imagine that men will treat your daughter like shit when they have sex with her when you, as a man, treat women like shit and think it’s normal.
Imagine thinking “I inspect my daughter’s vagina annually” makes you sound like a good dad and not a crazed lunatic or sexual predator.
This is fucking child abuse.
Also:
The vagina doesn’t need to be stretched prior to first intercourse -- what it needs is to be excited and lubricated. I’m all for women (and men, and anyone) choosing to have penetrative sex for the first time by themselves with a safe and quality sex toy, but that should be about exploration and pleasure, not some…
I thought about that with the woman who was strangled in the story. How is that not ‘apparent?’
He got 3 months for tying up woman and attempting to rape her? It’s truly disturbing that even with an easily provable crime that clearly showed he was dangerous he got such a light sentence.
Yeah, the 60 minutes segment built the story up like the Texas Ranger was someone who really cracked a tough nut of a serial killer. But then when you watch the segment it pretty much develops like this:
Reminds me of Gary Ridgeway. Popular media and true crime likes to depict serial killers as smart sociopaths like Ted Bundy or Wayne Williams, but the most “successful” ones are those who aren’t necessarily smart, but who target the kinds of people least likely to be missed: runaways and sex workers and LGBT folk. …
It wasn’t just law enforcement...even when he was arrested, the rest of the system - from Grand Juries to trial juries, didn’t care about the victims either.
I believe it was in an article about Little that I read about one of his victims having been found drug into the woods, with her pantyhose and girdle pulled to her knees and the coroner attributed her death to natural causes. Fuck that dude and all the cops and everyone else that did not investigate that crime.
Isn’t Holland calling this simple man a genius nothing more than self-fellation?
I love true crime and there is no greater scourge to the field as fuckers who idealize the perpetrators. One of the many reasons why I am fascinated by the genre is the story it tells about a neglectful and incompetent justice system. One that actively ignores and disregards victims while denying their responsibility…
Samuel Little lacked self-control. The institutions whose job it is to save him from himself failed all of us. Little’s victims are also victims of the police.
It’s amazing that they would rather call this guy a genius killer than recognize that law enforcement messed up time and time again. The term “less dead” is sometimes used because law enforcement doesn’t view crime against women of color, sex workers, drug addicts, as important as other crimes.
I was in METCO but I went to a private school in Cambridge/Belmont until 5th grade. METCO thought I would help the program somehow. My parents didn’t want me NEAR Bostons notorious racist school system and for good reason. To this day I never though South Boston HS was worth fighting for. Them and those Charlestown…
