Yeah, we have a bunch frozen, but I think our medical histories would make them super undesirable.

Because that is a huge decision! Many couples decide not to use donor eggs or sperm because they either want it to be genetically related to both of them or neither of them. Others make different decisions. Acting like there is an obvious choice is really insensitive.
But why does having a health issue give you a moral obligation that other couples do not have? The fact of the matter is that it IS complicated and/or expensive, so I’m not going to debate that part because it is fantasy land. I think adoption is amazing, but it isn’t right for every couple, and they should get to…
Yeah, it makes me nuts! I almost didn’t want to ungrey this person, but it is such a common response that I just couldn’t let it go unchecked. I hope things worked out for you!
I’m super amazed by this. My clinic only lets you keep freezing until age 51, at which point your embryos go to whatever end you signed for on your paperwork. I don’t think I realized embryo adoption was even an option 24 years ago, and maybe it wasn’t. Maybe there weren’t regulations in place to handle how long they…
I cannot stop laughing at this.
If she was a carrier and he had it, they could then be likely passing it on to their child. Or, maybe his medication screwed with his sperm, which is why my husband and I did IVF.
Thank you for this!
Have you adopted? I am asking because it is not easy. It’s also not asked of couples not dealing with infertility or illness on the reg. In fact, her husband having cystic fibrosis also could count them out from adoption. Private adoption is expensive (as much as three rounds of IVF at my clinic, if you pay out of…
Hey, thanks! Great job!
Almost everyone will notice when they cut social security and Medicare to pay for it. Because no one will be able to afford to keep their elderly family members in nursing homes.
I’m also really pulling for Booker paternity!
I LOVE this idea, especially because women are the primary consumers of a lot of movies, magazines, etc., but female actors are underpaid, treated poorly and their coworkers accepted their sexual harassment /assault for decades with no problem. This would be amazing.
I’m pretty sure he’s still off in another city looking for his luggage.
Depends on the airline, but most big ones still allow free under 2 in your lap (United and American both do), while others do reduced price fares under two.
People with babies sit in first class too. When it isn’t a big price difference I try to upgrade for the extra space since I am holding my kid on my lap and really need two arm rests. Sometimes she is loud and sometimes she isn’t. We all survive. But anyone who thinks they are more uncomfortable hearing a screaming…
If it starts with a C, Megyn, then it fucking ends with a T. I know you inexplicably spell your name with a Y, but the rest of us know our four-letter words by the first letter thankyouverymuch.
Good point.
Well, bless you for even trying to read it, because I sure as hell didn’t!
What I would like to know is if Tacheny has been trying to get Feit to confess for years. I’m not a lawyer, but I DO watch quite a bit of Law & Order, and one episode in particular covers whether or not it can be considered a confession without an act of contrition. Is Feit really sorry for what he did if he hid it…
