Didn’t Anne Romney actually say this exact thing too? Like we were so poor we had to cash in all of our stock options! Could THIS finally be the silver Trump bullet?

Really sorry you had to go through this, and sending internet love your way! Couldn’t agree with you more, and so sad that so many lawmakers don’t even take real women into account, because they’d rather base their choices on non-scientific philosophy. How nice for them.
Good point. Foster care adoption is not for us (at least not now), but I shouldn’t have acted like it isn’t an option. Thanks for the link.
IVF costs depend on a lot of factors (primarily how many tries it takes), but yes, ours is covered by insurance and we are very lucky and grateful. Private adoption (which is normally how you get a baby and not a toddler or older child) costs around $30k.
Yes. So much this.
Thanks! This is really helpful advice. I hope everything worked out for you!
I know. My parents are super Catholic and think of them as the children I’d never have or something. I mean, I don’t even know what to say to that. But it makes it even scarier that some nut jobs are trying to give those cells more rights than us.
OR is it the best/easiest group Halloween costume idea ever? Everyone stuff some old t-shirts under your clothes and be Kim and Kanye’s birthday guests. Done and done!
OMG PREACH! I am just starting IVF and somehow the national pregnancy loss day made all of these people I know go totally “pro-life” nuts on Facebook (I am very sad for their losses, but they don’t have anything to do with abortion—the legality of abortion will not prevent pregnancy loss). It is killing me how much…
Also NO ONE puts their prices online, so just to compare prices you have to call and email everyone and their mom, which ultimately takes forever and makes you give in to the higher pricing. It’s all a crock.
Omg i’ve been more in love with Mellie for at least two seasons. I totally get it.
This. is. EVERYTHING.
Maybe if everyone started bringing their children to work more, there would actually be some sort of incentive for a culture change.
Whatever. That was still so fun. Nothing, in my opinion, can ruin the Sound of Music. It’s just too great. Was Carrie Julie Andrews or Mary Martin? No, but neither are any of the high schools that put it on, and I love it just the same.
Which is why she brought a sitter.
I just wanted to point out that the author is an adjunct prof, who as a group, are often underpaid and receive no benefits and have very little job security.(http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/…)
Infants also don’t only scream. And she brought another person with her for this express reason—to keep a screaming baby out of the conference.
Yes, they can. And then her sitter would take baby out of the room. The commenter acts like the speaker brought a colic-y infant to a conference by herself on stage when she was supposed to speak, when actually she stayed at the back of the room with a sitter and had no intention of bringing the child on stage. I just…
But what about your sleeping infant? Most babies really aren’t constantly crying. It sounds like this woman has and had adequate childcare ready for both this conference and her teaching.
Anyone else confused when reading this? I had to re-read the opening paragraph three times to understand that Timothy Foster is the man who works for Sander M. Levin and that he is married and has a boyfriend.
