I googled and can’t figure out what you’re referring to. I want to like her, but what did she say?

This was my immediate first thought. Maybe they should have to pay $125,000 for every day after that it doesn’t work. Seems a bit more appropriate. Jesus.

Exactly my thought process.

Yes. They are even making smaller IUDs now specifically with teens and adult women who haven’t had kids yet. (I’ve seen the commercial but I cna’t seem to find the name right now). Also, I am one of the woman who hasn’t had kids and has an IUD. I literally have recommended it to all of my friends.

Oh great point! RT would be way better than just giving credit.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but the photographers won’t get paid either way if Taylor retweets them, right? If they’ve tweeted a pic, isn’t that fair for anyone to retweet at no cost? Sure, everyone should be giving credit, but aren’t these two seperate issues?

I wish I could hate Tay Tay but I can’t (her music is just so catchy and she’s so good at social media!). That being said, you have exactly summarized how much this should surprise anyone. Let’s just hope it helps photographers, rather than gets the squeaky wheel blacklisted.

I was supposed to get married on a rooftop in the Chicgo skyline in October. There was a ceremony earlier in the day that went off without a hitch. It was storming, thunder and lightning and we ended up getting married inside in front of a racecar instead (it was a sports museum). I wasn’t thrilled with that, but

Although in a completely different context, this is exactly like the reporting of everything with Paula Deen. Reporting on the n-word and missing the entire context of everything else said (with Obama, it’s obviously really deep and not able to be sound-bite-d and with Deen it was that she wanted to force serves to

What is a “small time period” to you? I mean, you can bond with a kid pretty quickly, and depending on their age, the kid bonds too. Not saying parents should have their birth children ripped away from them, but as you say, this is life-altering. If it takes longer than three months (which is condo-buying ish time),

Agreed.

But the intern does not need the campaign to file charges. In fact, that doesn’t really make sense. She should be the one to go to the cops, because that would be her choice, and not the campaign’s. I’m not saying they handled things correctly—we have no idea how they handled things—but it is still up to the intern to

I just do NOT get the idea of stealing someone’s thunder in terms of engagement. Like, you get your wedding day, and I’ll even throw in the shower and bachelor/ette parties. But outside of that, no one is entitled to everyone else not getting engaged when they are. Wedding happen all the time, even if you’re family,

Where’s my cell phone? oh next to the toilet with my dignity (and other stories)

Totally agree about Amy’s book. i love her, but that was a big disappointment. I did really like Rachel Dratch’s book, which i think we a great read, especially since in general she is less talked about, and I loved Tina and Amy’s books as well because all three made me laugh when my husband was having brain surgery.

I am a big crier. We wrote our own vows, and I had to write mine in a humorous way, specifically so that I could make it through them. My goal was not as lofty as don’t cry. The goal for me was not to cry hard enough that I needed to blow my nose for the whole 20 minute ceremony. I did it! But I cried a little walking

I completely agree. It is so sad. I mean, none of this really helps the girls, but for the sake of Josh’s children, I really really really hope this was a byproduct of their complete isolation and lack of normal sex education/expression and not just a sign that he is abusing his current family members. His parents AND

Same. According to wikipedia, “The series began on September 29, 2008.” So I think this is all pre-TLC, if we are giving him the benefit of the doubt that he stopped molesting his sisters. Which, should we give the benefit of the doubt?

Also just want to say that no one needs to wear real pants at all! I have been pants free for the past five years, and I couldn’t be happier. Jeans aren’t comfortable—don’t believe the hype! Dresses and skirts don’t have to be fancy.
