Yes! I just said the same thing on a different thread. Short and blue over here, and even my mom came around on it.

Or you can get married in any color you want short or long! Not meaning to rain on your parade (I'm sure you looked lovely), but I got married in a short blue dress, and although it shocked some family members, I looked awesome and in the end got a LOT of compliments on my dress. People seriously forget this is an…
I cannot believe that I have missed this show (don't worry, since they are only half hour episodes I feel confident that I will be caught up by tomorrow morning). Sarah, I re-watch Target Women when I am having a bad day, and Emily, I've been reading your comments on here and based on those alone, I can tell I should…
If the whole framing device for the show is a father telling a story to his kids to help them remember their dead mom, then why would Ted's long, 9-season-long story about a dead woman be so focused on, uh, Ted's dating life before he met her?
Agreed, but just remember that this was coming from someone who enjoys shooting animals from a helicopter.
Hahaha I'd love it if we got Chris Harrison. I'd actually watch it (as long as it was the Chris from the blog more than Chris from the actual show).
I actually keep really detailed notes in my paper work calendar for this reason. but I don't hide it. If something were to happen to me (online date or normal) I want them to have all the clues they can (i even cross out the lunches that have to be rescheduled, just in case).
This isn't a defense of Tinder, I've never used it, but it seems like anytime someone arranges an interaction with another human, that's when they are most likely to have something happen to them. Especially since it's even more common for you to know the human who will hurt you in some way.
This was my exact thought, but it also means the company is doing something right.
That is fair. I actually wasn't googling rape at all. I just wanted to see his picture to figure out if I knew who he was. That just popped up to the first search.
I'm going to keep this quote in my pocket and pull it out when needed. So smart. Thank you!
I left the Catholic church, moved around and just recently joined a United Church of Christ congregation in Chicago. I really like it. They are very open, and they start the service off at my church by saying the following (and meaning it!): "Welcome to those who have no church home, need strength, have doubt, want to…
I feel like saying it will fade away is sort of the opposite of the point of this article. It WON'T fade away if it's on the internet in this mass amount (as it is now). Right now , since I didn't know who Conor Oberst was, I googled him and the predictive search said "Conor Oberst rape" as the first search. I'm not…
A friend of mine decided very early on she was not going to breast feed, and she didn't and I think that worked out fine for her. She just didn't like the idea. But other moms really crucified her for it. I remember her coming back from the baby shower her family threw for her and almost crying talking about it…
Gross. I'd never heard Chi-Raq. I bet those people are afraid to go to Bronzeville.
OMG tête de nègre is so delicious, but once I learned what it was called I couldn't buy it anymore. It disturbed me that I even liked something called that at my local pâtisserie.
Fair enough. I'm not a statistician by any means. It just seems extra unfair that woman are deemed too old to do something earlier, especially if women typically live longer than men.
This is a really great counterargument!
They are EARNING this money, and those rates don't sound bad at all. I can barley walk the one block from my house to the train, let alone force myself outside to shovel up snow.
I just wrote about this too. It drives me CRAZY!
