You must play Untitled Goose Game. Nothing has ever been so cathartic.

My husband just temporarily moved out today for my health and well-being. I’m not sure when he’ll be coming back, or when I’ll see him face to face again. He works in a healthcare adjacent field (home care and managing a group home for developmentally disabled adults), so his work is pretty essential for his clients’ w

We got take out pizza today to support a local restaurant this afternoon.

All good.  Bruce found his forever home!

Ah, but I would bet all the entertainers at that casino are officially contract employees or work for Cirque or other entertainment conglomerates, so their PTO/wages/sick days are not through the same company.

“it would be impossible to for them to cash-in on any accrued paid time off or unused sick days, since doing so would indicate that the employee had quit...”

I’m 8 weeks pregnant after 1,5 years of trying and man, is this ever shitty timing. I thought I’d be so happy when I finally got pregnant, but I’m anxious and worried. Here in my part of Europe, we’re still in semi-lockdown, and they’re still hoping to avoid the worst case scenario. I’m in isolation and will be for

I’ve heard that too and my heart breaks for them. I’m sure a lot of them are pumped full of pre-IVF hormones awaiting the transfer, paying expensive storage fees, or closing in on 40+ (my husband) so they don’t have the luxury of waiting a year or however long this plays out for their chances to continue to decline.

I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant and my county is under shelter-in-place orders. I had an OB appointment yesterday. It was a very fast physical exam and my doctor said she would follow up with a phone call in order minimize physical contact. Unfortunately, the office was out of hand sanitizer and could only hand out

This is definitely scary times for all of us able to get pregnant & currently pregnant women. A few of our friends have recently announced pregnancies and my thoughts immediately went to how their care will be affected by this virus. ATST, I myself am on NC and due for my yearly exam soon to get a refill ... I am

39 weeks pregnant, Park Slope. I had an appointment with my OB today, who said that there is no need to fear the delivery ward. It’s sealed and secured, and there is 0% chance that it will be converted to space for COVID-19 patients. OBs are cancelling non-essential appointments to avoid exposure to infected patients.

My partner is expecting and so far, this has been a stressful nightmare for the both of us.  Our appointments are being cancelled with no recourse to reschedule and we have no clue how far along she is or if everything is healthy, etc.

As if being a pregnant woman in the US healthcare system wasn’t scary enough...

Thanks for the article. This hits home for me. My wife is due with our 2nd child on Monday (March 23). Having a baby is already stressful, adding the coronavirus stuff on top of it is even worse. We’ve talked to the hospital and they’re on a strict visitor policy right now two people are allowed during her stay

I’m so torn on this subject. My IUI this cycle failed and I’m due for another IUI next week. I know there’s talk about suspending non-emergency medical procedures right now but I wonder how that translates to us women stuck in the infertility cycle. Time is our enemy on our journey and this pandemic could last 18

They were not trans. At least not in the traditional sense. They did an art project with their late wife where they decided they would become a combination of one another as a third “pandrogynous” gender.

When their wife passed away, they decided to continue the project. They preferred to be referred to has “s/he” and

I think so too. It feels to me almost disrespectful to be like “RIP ... anyway MY news is...!”

Thank you. It helps to have a place to share it.

I want to tell you guys how much I love my boss who has literally invented work for me to do from home so I can get paid. I’m an office administrator and no one’s in the office. It’s a religious nonprofit and we’ve shut our whole campus down.
