With movies it will but not shows. It puts you back at the top of the season 1 list with no indication of what you’ve watched. And then you’ll have to turn the captions off for each individual episode every time you open one. 

They obviously rushed it. There’s no continue watching and the search features are pretty broken. Selecting all movies a-z pulls the first 20 movies from their catalogue and nothing else. Also the minor annoyance of having to turn off captions for each individual episode of the Simpsons.

The waiting is the worst! 2 weeks is too long.
