So I worked in a preschool and something the 2 year old classroom used to deal with was moms referring to favorite teachers as their 2 year old son’s “girlfriend”. Like “oh there’s your girlfriend” jokes about crushes etc. My theory was that this was how they made their insecurity at having their baby’s love for

If this helps, some of what you’re feeling is not as abnormal as you think. When I was pregnant I couldn’t for the life of me connect the movements inside me to the image of a real baby. Several friends have said the same. It’s hard to really get that there’s a human in there and it’ll be real.

Yup. I was 15 and we were all having a sleep over. He was sleeping next to me and he put his hands down my pants and I did the same move and thankfully he pulled it out so he wouldn’t get caught. We were a cuddly group of friends and I blamed myself for being a tease then promptly put it out of my mind for a decade

He makes dishes based on their specific appearance in a show, he’s not saying this dish is “from” the anime. The squid ink pasta is based on how it appears in that show. Meaning he had to make the sauce with ink as well so it turned your mouth black as in the anime which is definitely not how it normally is.

Exactly. As a Canadian-Pittsburgh transplant, I do agree that Mr. dressup can not compare.

My 4 year old came and hugged me as I watched this. And all I could say to her was that it’d made me sad because I missed him. He was a light of positivity and love that we sorely need right now.

This is exactly what I just told my husband. I know it’s Hanks trying to capture that voice and it’s not seamless, but I couldn’t stop crying.

Ugh YES. It’s such a difficult thing when you don’t want blouses like that. I have a long torso and a comparatively large chest. Anything flowy negates my waist and adds to my bulk and many dressy shirts wind up being too short and are tailored to a waist in the wrong place. I’m dreading when I eventually go back to

White. Noise. Machine. Wish I’d had one from the start because it was my savior from 2 weeks on when I finally bought one out of sheer desperation. If you don’t have one already, I’d recommend the cloud b travel sleep sheep. It can velcro around the bars of the crib and is an easy/less breakable option to just chuck

100%. I’m not even short and the high setting for my seatbelt cuts into my neck if it’s not adjusted down.

If you ever feel like you haven’t felt one in awhile go eat something sugary/cold (popsicle did the trick for me) and lay down. It was almost always instantaneous for me. I wouldn’t worry about the force, they’ll do little movements some days and look like they’re bursting out Alien style another.

Doubtful considering they filmed her hitting her ex on the show. He was trying to leave with his stuff, if I recall a big tv, and she was hitting him as he went down the stairs. She easily could have severely injured him/killed him if he’d fallen. She took swings at him on more than one occasion and they basically

I get your point but she’s a repeat offender with a record.

Except what I don’t understand is that New Jersey law states that sexual assault IS rape. It’s literally the same thing there. No distinction in their legal code that I just looked up. Everything else falls under “sexual violence”. How does he not know his own states definitions?

I’ll check them out, thanks!

Aww that’s too bad to hear. I was just thinking recently that I should really look into some of her others. Any one jump out as one I should read in particular?

That’s exactly what happened to me. I went in because I woke up and my water broke. I had not a twinge of anything until an hour later. So no food for me. And when all was done we ordered out anyway cause hospital food is terrible. Next time more snacks.

Ugh fuck that doctor. So sorry you had that happen.

It’s an excellent one! I just reread it recently and was like, yup this absolutely holds up.

I’d recommend The Oracle Glass. It’s focused around the Affair of the poisons. It’s a fun read with a little less of the annoying exposition that some have.
