Royal icing can be very bad or it can be good. Like anything it’s very dependent on the the flavoring. Plus it adds moisture back into the cookie and keeps it fresh longer. Fondant is just a flavorless way to quickly decorate. 

Or the pasteurized egg white that comes in cartons. It doesn’t have the weird taste meringue powder sometimes has. No separating, it’s safer, and easy to leave it to get to room temp. 

Yes please forever

Yea this is the first time ever we’ve done anything this fancy. Luckily the chef had given us a gift certificate for Christmas which helped a little. But we did go well shit it does seem worth it to save every so often and do this. 

This scone recipe is just the best. They’re so easy and fun to customize . Literally had this in my phone already because several people asked for it after I baked them for a tea themed baby shower last weekend. Do it.

However you feel, whatever you decide, I wish you  the best going forward. 

Damn. That’s an awesome work dinner. 

This is as adorable as rabbit stew is delicious. That’s seriously a lovely memory. 

Yes! I would agree. The chef used some very small flavors like powdered tarragon and fennel pollen to use as we saw fit. It was a really interesting way to add more subtlety to more powerful flavors and it worked really well. 

Food joy is exactly the word. Delicious torture at moments when I started getting full. But joy.

I’m extremely intrigued by garlic flowers. 

Haven’t been in years and I have a friend who goes a weekend a year. I’m always intensely jealous of the Epcot food. 

Ooh I’ve never been into bread pudding’s sweetness, but I could be very interested in a savory. I’m gonna be googling that. 

You guys, the meal we had last weekend. My husband’s cousin is an executive chef and we ate at the chef’s table. Holy shit. 8 courses became 12 and I think I gained 3 lbs just that night. I want it all again now please, but instead we’re having Chinese takeout. What was your best meal ever?

It’s a bit of both I’d say. I began having a reaction to the Nuvaring maybe around 10 years ago. I’d been on it before but began having really intense pain and swelling, typically post sex. Doctors had very little to say about it beyond testing for stds and suggesting it was mental. No one ever considered it was birthc
