Many Giant Eagle grocery chains have a day care for while you shop. Except they named it “the eagle’s nest”, l so my mind goes right to Hitler’s bunker. 

I imagine they clear that kind of thing ahead of time. But I totally get the feeling.

Granted my daughter is turning for but it may also be hospital to hospital or state to state. It needs to be said though. I’ve met the results of surviving that.

Best advice I ever got for newborns was for when you’re about to absolutely lose it. Put the baby in the crib, walk away, and cry in a hot shower. The baby is safe and fine. You’ll feel better and odds are, you’ll come out to a sleeping baby. I only had to do this a few times, but with a colicky baby who didn’t sleep…

Unless there were reasons not given in this article, I’m a little appalled that no one took her into their home while this was going on. I’m sure there could be a reason why it was impossible/impractical, but I am curious.

Paper straws are bad enough with just liquids, but can you imagine trying to suck down a frappachino? That being said, I’ll bring my own straw. 

Oh god I know. When they were listing the possible surgeries for the bone marrow edema one was stem cells being grown in a lab London. My good ole American health care having laughed at the thought. But here’s to the future.
