I remember a few years ago my frustrated friend who worked for the PA welfare office just begging for someone to give her a policy on what box to check because they gave them zero guidance at the time. She’s very supportive of trans rights FYI, but was just so frustrated with the lack of decision from the government.

This is actually stuff they’ll have to nail down. Trans military members have had issues getting the appropriate tests (prostate, breast exams) at various stages of transition. It all requires very open and trusting dialogue with medical professionals who have been properly educated.
