My only thought is they were following the puck and didn’t know what happened, or they thought Lundqvist was trying to draw a penalty. Nash and Miller did skate in there a little later, but I would imagine at least Miller would have went at him right away if he actually saw the hit.

It’s an immediate suspension if you come off the bench to fight. I’m not sure if the players on the ice knew exactly what happened, as they continued playing the puck and heading up ice. Miller and Nash did challenge Eakin after the whistle, but it looks like the refs got there first and kicked him out of the game.
