Phil was handed a terrible deck of cards when you consider that any decent first party AAA game needs at least 3-5 years of solid development and it’s only in the last couple of years that M$ has put money into acquiring studios.

This is honestly one of the first things I would do if I was COO of Valve. This can be monetized so easily and you eliminate the need for and abuse of G2A and other key resellers.
