Epic Mickey is definitely missing from this list! Yes, Epic Mickey 2 had a lot of flaws, but it could have been a great game if it had more time in development.

The Ducktales Moon theme actually has lyrics now, thanks to the new show, which was a million times better than it had any right to be and this was one of its crowning achievements.

I can’t speak to the ones listed here, but I find it hard to believe they’re all better than Epic Mickey. Excellent game mechanics, especially using the Wii-mote; whimsically creepy universe; deep dive into Disney animation and theme park history. Phenomenal game.

Likely irrelevant but kind of amusing(?) is that if you look at the order of videos on his page; he has one about his actual girlfriend hating his christmas gift (AI art generations trained on her drawings) and then the very next video is the start of this AI Waifu thing.

Yeah it is SE. Keep in mind that the approval of anti-capitalist narratives is across many forms of media, including from big corporations themselves. Usually they’re dismissive of such narratives, but when you’re too big to fall you also get the “confidence” that you can get away with anything.

Detective Pikachu takes a lot of its beats from the same game it shares its name with, though. For all its changes, it’s a pretty successful adaptation of the main beats from that game’s story. I’d love a sequel. Though I don’t know how they’d do it.
