That too.
That too.
He was probably complaining about the process they use if he was an old school animator. In short, nothing on Archer is hand-drawn. That probably pissed him off.
> Take a shot when any Anglophile show casts a Harry Potter or Doctor Who alum
God, that animation was beautiful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen cats move so realistically. That one part at the end where the kitten jumps off the thing, lands awkwardly and shakes her head; just perfect. I’ve read that comic so many times and never expected to see an adaption of it, much less one this successful. And…
Haven’t watched much of the show yet but this news makes me excited because it sounds like they are going to embrace Sandman’s partial anthology aspect where sometimes the comic would just tell one off stories that just involved Morpheus or another Endless or just even aspects of the idea of what a dream is. I hope…
It really disgusts me how people made fun of her mental illness and her sexual orientation in the 90s. SNL alone made her a frequent source of mockery. I’m like, “For God’s sake, this woman needs help!”
Yeah, read about her upbringing...Jesus. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
A sad ending to a life filled with spectacular ups and downs. My thoughts are with her family, especially her two sons.
I thougy that’s what I saw, too.
Yeah the legally changed part is what blow my mind. Its not like she was just starting this journey or hadn’t done the paper work. She changed her name, that is her name. That old name would be listed as an alias, sure, but its not her name anymore. This just sounds like shitty cops being really shitty
This is ACAB in it’s purest form.
stating she killed her mom
I dearly hope the great standalone issues get adapted so people can experience them. Midsummer’s Night Dream, Dream of a Thousand Cats, and Three Septembers and a January, which is still the best depiction of Emperor Norton I’ve yet encountered.
Delirium is one of my favourites in the comics and an oddly heartbreaking character, I really hope they do her justice in the show and don't turn her into comic relief or anything
Oh, I love the “Midsummer Night’s Dream” issue. I was going to include the appearance of William Shaxberd in the “Men of Good Fortune” segment of episode six as a potential seed for a future episode, but it could have been just a cool Easter egg for fans. We know what their conversation entailed.
I really enjoyed the first season, so am glad there’s going to be a second (don’t stuff it up now Netflix).
right?
Ahahaha no, that’s an insanely ahistorical, homophobic, transphobic take. Bisexuality is and always has been inclusive of nonbinary people, trans people whether binary or nonbinary, etc. A bisexual manifesto that’s literally over thirty years old makes this very clear: “Do not assume that[...] we MUST be involved…
A huge gap in these predicted near-futures is that everyone would have pocket phones that could instantly communicate and take unlimited photos and videos. Like, Deckard calling Rachel from the video booth at the club. A lot of plot points change if characters could just send a text.
I was hoping for more granular and plausible examples, like how Back to the Future II’s 2015 had fax machines in every room.
