AdventureQuest would suggest Werepyre’s.

And she has to call the insurance people!!
A bit of a comedown from the last two episodes for me. Felt a little too unfocused. Friggin’ loved Nadja’s whole “I like Gail!” bit, and Kristen Schaal’s “It’s my first website, and I think I did a good job.”
The point isn’t the degree of the offenses — it’s that both comedians made us supposedly privy to their “real selves”. They didn’t have to do that. Many comedians have a persona which is understood by the audience to be completely fictional. I don’t think anyone thinks Emo Philips the character is very much like…
Kinja issue that has been on-going for roughly a year now. Not limited to AV Club
As much as I loved Maneater and looked forward to a possible sequel, I have no problem not caring about either until this scumbag is removed from the company. Glad I held off on purchasing the new add-on.
I fall into that thirst trap. :)
It seems like they’re swearing a lot more too. The standards for the show must have been relaxed.
I like the little touches , like the portrait of the WWDITS movie vampires in the council.
I don’t know why I was worried they might not stick the landing from last season’s cliffhanger. I should know better by now. But they did it. They resolved it in a surprising and cool way. Guillermo rules.
I’m aware of the stroke, but he’s doing Cameo-like meet’n’greets remotely to this day and seems to me at least to be up for VA work if he wanted to. He also made a cameo in the TV remake of Rocky Horror.
Kind of a shame that the inclusion of Ren and Stimpy means that dirtbag actual pedophile John Kricfalusi will probably get royalties from this.
Ubisoft being Ubisoft. That is, poorly stripping real-world settings of their politics with the intent of making said setting “tourist-friendly” for the player. At this point, just just comes off as extremely lazy and capitalist on their part.
Holy shit, how did I not know about Peter David writing a Coheed book?!
Yes they did! I too am excited by this!
I’m having a hard time associating 80's Ninja Turtles with Nick. The 2012 show or Rise makes more sense to me. But I’m old. This is still cool, though.
I think the line is usually in regards to what’s “too real”. Ordinary people living peacefully and enjoying videogames are more likely to be dealing with suicidal ideation and self-harm than they are to be getting into high-octane gunfights.
Sure!
