Eddie PHYSICALLY changed the world of guitar too.

I’m surprised she got away with it for as long as she did.
Yep. We can acknowledge that Black History Month isn’t sufficient without saying that Pride Month is too much. It’s not one or the other - they don’t have to compete, and they shouldn’t compete.
Even in “Western” countries the average life expectancy for trans people is roughly 35, mostly due to violence against Black trans women, and suicide due to social and family rejection.
Enslaved? No. Lynched? In several countries to this very day.
The closest parallel I can think of was the Soviet Union, especially, though not limited to, the Stalin years. Enslaved doesn't really work as a comparison though. Slaves didn't have sentences.
I always questioned Harry ending up with anyone after the amount of PTSD he would have come out of the books with. He actually died ffs. That has got to mess you up.
Wealthy family loses everything and is forced to move to a backwoods town, which happens to be their remaining asset.
So...they took the one modern version of Spider-Man that refreshingly wasn’t perpetually stuck as a school-aged child and...made him look like a school-aged child now.
I don’t mind this change generally speaking, the only thing is that the new Parker looks almost ten years younger than the old one.
So there’s absolutely no chance I buy the game (because the hard working, presumably decent people in the studio do not stand to benefit financially from my purpose, but *she* does). But my heart goes out to all the people at the studio who, when they started, were excited to work on a beloved pop culture property…
Struck by happiness! _(┐「ε:)_ I just need to crawl to the eshop now...
Well, there is a closeted gay man (perhaps bi-sexual?) in the show. Then there is an intersex character that...I would say does not get the greatest treatment and falls victim to a tired trope.
5. There’s always The Books of Magic, about a young boy with messy hair and glasses who, with his pet owl, learns to fight evil with magic. It was published 7 years before Harry Potter.
Yeah, it’s not like I’m going to track them down on social media and antagonize them over it. Instead I’ll post my inane-yet-self deprecating comments here.
And even Silence of the Lambs, which certainly plays with the trope, takes the time to explain that Buffalo Bill wasn’t trans. Like, they have a whole plot point where they look for the killer through folks getting reassignment surgery (which, yikes) and the breakthrough is that he didn’t qualify because he isn’t…
Man, I love me some Sophie Campbell art. Glory was amazing, just for the art, apart from its affecting story. Even read a trade of Jem pure for the art (too bad the story wasn’t really for me, which is totally fine of course).
All I needed to see was Sophie Campbell writing and drawing and I am picking this up. The last time I bought this TMNT series was an arc that had covers and interior art by Campbell (although I think that was when they were still credited as Ross Campbell).
In the beta, she was my favorite character to play as. The voice actress they got for her did a good job.
