You nailed it. See, most people forget that it has to be a convertible, but what's the point of having a BMW if no one can see you driving it? The convertible thing is doubly true in places where convertible season is shortest.

The year was 2009. Jenson Button was leading the Formula 1 Championship, and could lock up the championship by finishing fourth or better at the second to last race of the season, the Brazilian GP. Button kicks the tail out to ensure he can get to the next corner first. But maybe just a little bit more than he

Hell yes I will, I've seen every episode of Top Gear USA and you don't realize how much the show has grown and improved until you watch an old episode (as it is with the first four or so seasons of Top Gear: Original Flavor). But even if they hadn't, I would. Because I like cars, and this show celebrates cars and

Nice price, given that it's targeted at 5er enthusiasts. I don't mind the lack of RK's, but 15" Style 5s are too small. 16" wheels from an E32 would be the best option there. But those are an easy enough find for a decent price.

Top Gear USA should trade Ferrara and Rutledge for Farah and Dan Neil. Not that I have any issue with Rutledge Wood, but Matt Farah's personality on camera is more my preference. Dan Neil is awesome, and I think he's the journalistic voice and background that Top Gear benefits from and Top Gear USA is missing.

I welded my diff, now what?

I want one, and I don't particularly care much which one. Can't say that about many manufacturers.

The Ford Evos is just made entirely of door.

Close, but you've picked the wrong VW.

I have family in Stuttgart, and when visiting them in the 90s I spied a sweet multi-level garage that lifted cars into position in order to take advantage of the owner's limited real estate. It was predictably filled with Porsches and Mercs.

The SVT Contour was one of the first things I thought of when I read this. Everyone remembers the SVT Lightning but the Contour is to me not much more than the car I had to drive during driver's ed classes. The SVT is a completely different animal, of course.

I can't believe no one has said this yet.

Even in Texas, I think an earthquake is a more likely event than a Cowboys-Texans superbowl.

Agree. I like Dan Neil a lot- his pieces are great, and it makes me realize that real automotive journalism is what Top Gear US is missing. Matt Farah is cool, too, and he actually contributes. Salley is fairly useless- he's not so much a car guy as a guy with a lot of cars, and seems to mostly be there as a way of

All manners of beige. The color itself is used as a term to describe things that are dis-satisfyingly bland and flavorless. Some cars themselves may match the beige color, but doesn't it only compound the problem?

Drivers will likely be tipped off that something is amiss by the presence of what appear to be construction workers in construction zones.

Since the cosmetic redesign thing, I haven't been able to get any of your videos to play. It hasn't been a problem until now, but seriously, what is up with that. Three different browsers tried, and none worked. The play button does nothing. It's getting irritating- I would really like to watch this video.

My E28 used to have a shifter so sloppy that every single gear rested in the same spot, so that was fun. Now that I've fixed it, it still has a speedo that I can't read because the only position the steering wheel is willing to rest in covers the half of it between 30 and 110. The dash has new cracks in it every

The answer is totally obvious: 2008's Auto Recovery. One of the worst movies I have ever seen, the trailer actually makes it seem about a million times better than it is.
