I do agree with you that the Celtics and Lakers seem like the most likely destination for Davis. One has the most to offer and the other would likely be his preferred destination. The one I wouldn’t discount is the Knicks IF they land the Number 1 pick. Moving that (i.e. Zion), Porzingis and Kanter’s contract for AD

So who is the “home team” from whom they’re taking this game? Is it L.A.’s? Because if so, they probably can’t have that game until the wildfires out there are taken care of. So do they play it in Kansas City like the league made the Saints play in Giants Stadium against the Giants but called it a Saints home game?

Mike Fresca? Who was that?

Damn liberals! Losing the last four Bedlams in a row!

Well written piece, David.

It helps when he’s boys with CP3, whom the Rockets just paid $160 million to keep for 4 more years. He asks for his friend to be made part of the team, you give it to him to make sure he signs.

Gregggggggg Williams is the new Interim Head Coach.

Can you mercy rule an entire city?

When the decision is whether to fire Hue Jackson or Todd Haley, don’t you have to step back and consider that maybe it’s your fault the team is led by a group of idiots and assholes?

The Saints were all set to take Mahomes at #11 if he had been available when KC traded up to go get him at #10. They had to “settle” for Marshon Lattimore, which worked out all right for them. As for the rest, Chicago took Trubisky (traded up, remember?), Tennessee and Carolina didn’t need a QB (on the basis that

+1 “What time is it?!”

They kept repeating his perfect PAT stat over and over in the broadcast and it made me go “It’d be something if he missed one today.” Then, by God if he didn’t go out there and do it.

And despite it all, they are still within that group of OK-to-mediocre AFC teams that could still think they have a shot at the playoffs. Besides the Chiefs, Patriots and Chargers who all seemed to be the top of the AFC, every spot is up for grabs still.

Better than OUTLOOK BLAINE

Impressive. I think I got sick just watching her do it.

If after living through Steve Bartman, those fans opted to chase for a ball flying towards them during a LCS and got involved in the play, then that’s on them. Me, I’d be pushing everyone back to make sure there’s no doubt if that’s a homerun.

R.I.P. Peoria Joe.

For the guy asking about the amount of booze to have: Buy what you like. If you like nothing but beer, have beer. If you like Rum and Coke, buy some rum and have that. If you like neat whiskey, grab that. Don’t make the mistake of buying “The Essential Man’s Bar” (tm) that every magazine and YouTuber tells you that

The GOAT discussion is totally subjective and impossible to determine on a clear winner. That’s why it is eternal sports talk fodder. But it’s a simple way for fans to say which players they like over which other players.
