This really isn't that big of a deal. Lifehacker has instructions to do this and add NFC to any car for less than $100. I'd really consider it a nice incremental change not a major feature.

^ winner.
I believe it, now if she said she'd only DRANK 10 times I'd call bullshit.
Dooohhhhh!
Good point
Who the hell is clamoring for this? Aren't these things kind of a lack luster version of what everyone wanted to begin with? why put on all this frosting and not improve on the base powertrain ?
Until the TSA stops being ridiculous and stewardesses go back to saying nothing more than please and thank you I could care less what happens on plains, I'll drive. I can blow past a Mercedes S550 as quickly as I can a Ford Focus.
Had a friend with one back in 93', it was a really nice car but had horrible electrical issues. I don't need a $1,750 wiring project. CP
Wow... now she's cute, unless she starts peeing or pulls out a cup.
That doesn't quite make sense in the context you are using it. If you are talking about strictly from a technology stance then yah anything 10 years old or more is going to fall out of favor. They've put in the R&D which in turn helps to make the next generation of standard cars that much nicer at a much lower price.…
agreed
I want to know this guy.
80's
Christie Brinkley is too good for that, she had a Ferrari. ;-)

I totally forgot about this horrid monstrosity... THE TEMPEST!
Blech!
Blech
These things were a joke the day they were released.
That makes my stomach hurt.
