I hope Trump and everyone protecting him dies a slow miserable painful death of the worst kind. Saying this as someone who has watched half the people I love the most die the same way in the past decade. I truly, honestly, wish that hardship and pain on these people and those they “love”/”love” them.

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit, is it?

I dunno, I’d start with when he admitted on national television that he fired Comey to try to end the Russia investigation. That’s the first one that pops in to my head.

Yep. Homebirth is taking unnecessary risks at the expense of your child for your own “birth experience”. In my opinion, you have failed the very first test of parenting by doing that. No baby is going to remember their birth.

I wish that my three children didn’t require surgical intervention to enter the world. The havoc those C sections have wreaked on my back and abs can’t be overstated.

I was served Eggs Benedict once as a kid, and I didn’t want to eat them because they were weird-looking, so my dad said “oh, you loved these when you were little! You ate them all the time!” So I happily ate my eggs benedict. Years later, I realized I had to have been like, 4 or 5 when he told me that so I very much

Firstly, I don’t particularly like children- But even I cannot understand how fucking twisted and dead inside you gave to be to look at a chubby cheeked little kid and think “fuck em”. They are so squishy and small and helpless. I don’t like kids and don’t want to have any/spend free time with them but fuuuuuuck. If

I’d also like for every one of them that self-identifies as a Christian to be expelled from their church.

Every federal employee, up to the shitstain President, that has touched this criminal conspiracy against refugee children needs to lose their job and be tried for unlawful imprisonment and child endangerment at the least.

This is the right take. Higher seating position and to a lesser degree AWD, are such a feel good metrics, grounded primarily in the lack of driver-road connection in modern cars, and secondarily in driver reliance on technology to compensate for skill. Anyone who’s flipped an 80/90s SUV knows that higher is not

I found room for a spare set of wheels/tires in a tiny NYC apartment.  You just have to be creative...and enjoy the ever present smell of rubber.

They like the high seating position because “I can see so much from up here.”

but if we ALL get SUV’s, then there will need to be SUPER SUV’s so the people who once had the height advantage will still be able to “command the road”, this is a slippery slope. Dont give in to driving these huge ass bubbles

Agree. I feel like one of the reasons it’s so hard to really get is that they’re not benefits from a consumer standpoint*, they’re selling points. Of course marketing will tell you that they’re benefits, that’s how selling points work.

*And yes, influencers within the target demographic will say “I like being above

I’m from Michigan and I don’t have AWD. good snow tires is all you need. we covered that here recently

My mom likes an upright/higher seating position, and feels AWD is a boon in snowy weather (not completely untrue). My mom doesn’t know shit about cars. But she knows she doesn’t like climbing out of a low car - and she really lacks confidence on the road. Any amount of sliding will stress her out.

Read my reply to “asmallcat.” Sitting low doesn’t make you blind, and if you are paying attention and don’t go where you can’t see, you’ll be just fine.

If you can’t see, pull up or wait. Or go buy an SUV.

But its all wheel drive, that means in winter i will be unstoppable at any speed and any maneuver.

People want it cause it lets you see around all the other stupidly tall cars. I DD a focus (5-speed, natch), and it is impossible to see oncoming traffic if literally any other vehicle pulls up next to me while I’m trying to turn.
