He just turned 19, so he filmed this just before his 18th birthday.

I’ve known him and his family since he and my daughter became classmates in 2nd or 3rd grade. Awesome kid from an awesome family!

I am biased, since the actor playing teen-aged Kevin, is a close family friend. That being said, I was touched by this movie and I’m so proud to have Jharrel being a part of such an important piece.

I meant to say, that it was hard for us to see Jharrel, playing the character of Kevin. Young One and I kept looking at each other like, “Did he just say that?”

Second time was much easier and I found the movie to be breathtaking.

Thank you. Kevin is such the opposite of his real person, that it was difficult for my daughter and I to separate the two personas.

Thrilled to be able to see this week-end with my daughter. Her best friend plays teen-aged Kevin.

Similar to me with our daughter. I encouraged her to talk and visit, but she chose to cut him off. He blamed me for it, but I knew in my heart that I had done everything I could. She had grown enough to see his nonsense and not want it in her life.

I’ve lived in NYC for 35+ years, and haven’t had a roach in my apartment in the last 20 years. Until last week, when I had 3 of these mother fuckers wake me up in the middle of the night, scuttling across my bedroom ceiling. I woke my daughter up, and made her get them.

My best friends 10 y/o daughter died 3 years ago, and the neighborhood painted a mural on the side of the bodega. LOL, Nena’s mural is one of the Pokemon sites.

Growing up in Catholic school where the nuns were still in long habits, we all knew that they had roller skates on under their habits. Those babes would just roll!!

Actually she was the 5th child in a very loving and nurturing family with 6 children. She was a little charmer and loved by everyone. She was kind to the homeless people in the park, the drug dealers on the corner, anyone she came in contact with. She was mourned by the whole kit and kaboodle of our inner city…

I went to a wake, where there were bouncers and police outside the funeral parlor. This was NOT a wake for a gang banger, but a 10 year old girl.
