Thanks for that feedback! (I haven't watched a non-sports TV show with friends since the premiere of Voyager so many eons ago. )
So, the incoherence…it wasn't just me?
Exactly why the Doctor was all-but-bored with their plan.
Would this be the episode you'd use to try to convert someone to Doctor Who fandom? Yeah, didn't think so.
Nope, not a stunner of an episode, and the superhero stuff is all for the civilians who don't really get superheroes - it's all costumes and glasses for them and it always will be.
but to me it reeks of 1) capitulation and B) rebranding for film purposes, neither of which sits well with me.
Well, when you take out the character plot and overarching stories, there isn't enough to fill a half hour.
Diedrich Bader did a brilliant "punch evil in the face" Batman on Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Good to see him back.
You all do realize that the audience for Justice League Action WASN'T EVEN BORN when JL/JLU ended?
never mind.
Shazam looks like he should be in Archie comics.
Nah. It worked for me.
Goddammit, yes to this.
It never happened.
I bet it sounded that way, too!
We're still waiting.
OK - How can I convince DC to put that AMANDA WALLER logo on a t-shirt for me?
And the thigh-high boots is a NICE variation.
And finally near the end when Batman actually shouted as a battle cry "Justice League, Action!" That was just awful.
