I feel like I’d need to see the movie a 2nd time to better analyze everything, but my initial impression was that there were some good ideas and some head scratchers. I think some of the ideas would’ve gone over better if they hadn’t tried to cram so many into one film, which I think is why it comes across as heavily

That’s a good point and could very well be the case. However, I think because they had her hearing Obi-Wan’s voice in TFA, it’s strongly suggesting she’s somehow related to Obi-Wan or someone close to him. If there was never meant to be a connection there, there was little reason to use his voice.

I don’t believe they mentioned how close it was or wasn’t. I know they have hyperspace and lightspeed capabilities, but I don’t think that it is instantaneous and still takes hours to travel between places.

That tactic had probably never been tried before and there wasn’t a guarantee it would work the way she thought.

Though I would’ve liked to see Luke dish out some serious damage with his lightsaber, I think the fact that they showed him able to astrally project himself across the galaxy suggests that Luke has become the strongest Jedi master to ever live. Though that may or may not be true, within the context of the 8 films it

I liked the idea that was presented in here that the Force will always balance itself out, which is what I thought the prophecy about Anakin always meant (bringing balance to the Force by joining the Dark Side instead of the Light to even out the powers).

I also thought that entire subplot didn’t work for the time they had in the story. I only saw the movie once, but I believe they said they had 18 hours to get the tracker disabled. I’m not sure if it’s ever been established how fast they can travel or how far away the casino planet was, but that kind of time frame

Which is why I don’t believe the movie’s revelation about her parents. She’s demonstrated far too much strength in the force to be just some random couple’s daughter.

There were several parts of the movie that felt rushed, pointless, or simply contrived. Star Wars has never been rocket science, but I don’t remember the last movie I saw where I kept scratching my head and wondering what the point of certain scenes was.

The NFL is never going to enforce its concussion protocol for the same reason that many dangerous and downright shady things are allowed to continue: too much money on the line. If they cared about player safety, they would actually remove players and/or keep them from playing. However, if they do that then the teams

This project has sounded doomed from the beginning. It could very well turn out to be great, but I hope that if it tanks it won’t derail the other solo movies (which would’ve been more interesting than Han Solo without Harrison Ford).

I think the idea would’ve been better if it had been a Han Solo movie featuring Harrison Ford (though it couldn’t have been a prequel since he’s too old for that now). Given that almost nothing has been released about the movie, it’s tough to get a good feel on it. It is odd, however, that there’s no trailer or

The Star Wars universe is vast enough where there’s plenty of tales and storylines to explore without them feeling like constant retreads and rehashes. Even if they some day get to releasing 2 Star Wars movies every year, I don’t think audiences will tire of them as long as they are still quality (same formula as the

I see no situation where Pence doesn’t go down with Trump. Even if Pence tries to distance himself from everything, Trump will drag him down. If Trump is going down, he’s gonna make sure everyone goes with him.

This entire fiasco is another example of corporate short-sightedness. On paper, it may’ve sounded okay. But the rollout has been awful. I think everyone understands the company has to make money somehow, but their big mistake was ham-fistedly adding on exorbitant fees to every pledge. Something scaling like leaving

You clever bastard, you made me laugh out loud reading this.

While I’m no Kasich fan (I live in Ohio), I think even he would’ve been much better as President than this damn fool we have in there now. To Kasich’s credit, I don’t think he ever supported Trump.

I believe “cowardly asshole” is the term you’re looking for.

Hardcore Trump supporters think anything that’s posted outside of Fox News is “fake news”. Even when Trump is impeached or otherwise forced out, they’ll still believe it’s “fake news”. There’s no convincing any of them of anything. They’re perfectly content to be dumb and uninformed and won’t have it any other way.

All of this is so disgusting. There’s corruption and impropriety going on at pretty much every level of this administration, but those cowards in the Republican party refuse to say or do anything about it. They would’ve been burning Democrats at the stake (and rightfully so) had this occurred during a Democrat
