I think they story, as dumb as it was, could’ve worked if the casting had been better. However, everyone outside of Arnold was badly miscast and significantly hurt the overall feel. No one outside of Arnold could convey the gravitas needed to make the stakes feel plausible.

Heyman can talk, but I don’t think it would work. Heyman is forever tied to Lesnar and any efforts to pair him with others will meet with failure (see Curtis Axel, Cesaro, Ryback). Thing is, I’m not sure what talkers outside of Heyman that you could pair with him.
