If the NX drastically underperforms, I could see Nintendo maybe considering certain exclusive games for other platforms, but they will NEVER bend on their standards. Sony and/or Microsoft would have to be willing to play by Nintendo’s rules should that time ever come.

This is easy money for Nintendo. Pokemon Go was probably the first real test for Nintendo to see how its IP would fare on the mobile platform. It was a smashing success, so no reason to not further grab more of that market.

Before Rare got bought by those bastards at Microsoft, they were creating some amazing stuff for Nintendo in both gameplay and soundtrack. As far as I’m concerned, Rare was closed when they left Nintendo.

Man, that’s a tough choice. There’s been so many great soundtracks from over the decades (Donkey Kong Country series, Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Mass Effect 3, Legend of Zelda series, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, etc). If I had to narrow it down to just one, I would say Final Fantasy VII.
