Agreed, although I would’ve much preferred Venom as the main villain or even a better version of Green Goblin 2.0 and not the weird snowboarder version. However, Spider-Man 3 had so many problems and serves as an example of too much studio interference.

Hamill is a fantastic Joker for that medium, but it’ll never be known how he would’ve done as a physical version. That said, I still prefer Nicholson’s Joker over Ledger’s, though both were great for their time. I can’t say yet whether Leto’s Joker will be good, but I do think they made some really dubious design…

I think Batman Returns’ biggest problem was that Batman was a side character in his own movie. There was far too much time spent on Catwoman and Penguin that Batman felt more like an accessory.
