Working yourself to death is just called “pulling yourself up by your boot straps” to some.

Wealth and value are always relative to the individual. You may look at a person like Taylor Swift and say they have too much money and don’t need more. But there are also those below you who I’m sure look at you the same way.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry may be fine artists for the time they exist in, but they aren’t making the kind of music that will still be played 50 years down the road.

I’m pretty sure there’s no alcohol store who has thousands of customers trying to checkout all at once and stopping the line to verify every single ID. In any large system, things will always slip through the cracks. It is inevitable and is not a matter of if, but when.

Possible, absolutely. But a huge waste of time and it would be a bankrupting practice.

Any artist who’s been around the internet at all over the last 10 years or so knows it’s just a game of whack-a-mole attempting to get everything you don’t want up taken down. Ultimately, it will cost time and money and nothing will be changed.

For me, I feel like $10 is the sweet spot for a standard physical album and slightly lower for an all digital version.

The internet is so widespread and accessible than ever before, they really could go it on their own. The old ways of doing business have mostly become irrelevant in today’s digital age.

I guarantee if he does another Lego project like this again, he will do a better job of safeguarding it (i.e. putting it behind a glass case or something similar). He probably didn’t use glue because he may have planned to reuse the pieces at a later time. I can’t imagine the headache it would be to clean glue off…

There always has to be a first time. These guys used it as a last resort measure and it happened to actually work as advertised. I can definitely understand the reluctance to use it and it fails leading to a patient death.

I didn’t care for First Class all that much. It wasn’t a horrible movie by any means, I was just turned off by the lack of recognizable X-Men outside of Xavier, Magneto, and Mystique.

This is the exact reason why I do not work full-time at my current job (I choose to work only 32 hours every week). People always think I’m foolish or silly for not wanting to work 40 hours every week on 3rd shift. Sure, I could make more money, but exhaustion and tiredness are more magnified when you work night shift…
