It's really impressive just how much has went into the individual troops of Shogun 2. The detail, the animations, they're all truly impressive considering how many of these units are on-screen at the one time. Zooming in and getting a good look at the battles just looks excellent.

But...the kind of people who played "arcane simulations requiring thick instruction manuals" WOULD be real gamers in gaming snob eyes! Those are the kind of games Sid Meier used to make!

Every time I see "Funcom", I just wonder when we'll get another Longest Journey game. And then I cry.

I have a blast playing QL, I hope id do see some kind of success off of it at some point.

And now that TF2 is free, it probably won't be taking any players away from QL, since they appeal to very different shooter tastes...
