Honestly, I don't think I'm going to bother with anything after the reboot. Maybe I'll just constantly reread Planetary and Transmetropolitan again for my comics fix...

Sega did, around about 1998, with Sonic Adventure.

Well, that link still says "By Stephen Totilo" on it, so...

DC Universe Online is going free to play before the end of this year. Just watch.

Wow. Just....wow.

Wait, how come?

Now can High Moon get back to work on a War For Cybetron sequel? You know, the Transformers game people actually wanted?

You could stand to check out thatgamecompany's earlier works, fl0w and Cloud!

Wait, we're still hung up on this stupid debate? As long as WE think games are art, who cares?

No Planescape: Torment? Son, we need to talk.

I hope they manage to get a sequel out somehow, EA MMA was a really fun play. The career mode was a bit more developed than the UFC games, and I quite enjoyed their fighting system.

Doesn't real-world currency come into it a lot? Like, you can actually make (and lose) money playing EVE? If that's the case, I can see why some people would be pissed off the game's economy will be unbalanced.

"More like he's played the BEST MMO EVER.

I think your numbers are a little skewed there, considering how many people played SWG...

MMOs weren't always like WoW.

@Liquid-X: What makes you say that? I tried to give it another go with all its NGE bells and whistles maybe a year or so ago, and they had added stuff based on recent Expanded Universe books and everything. It definitely wasn't short on lore or anything.

Well, I just bought one for £8.95, so I hope this works...

I *wish* TOR looked as interesting as SWG was.

@SophieJKL: Exactly how does it work? As far as I understand it, do you not need a retail copy of the game? I own it digitally.

I would absolutely love to see a game based in the Sprawl Trilogy's world.
