Vince Vaughn champions his exciting new “Vince Vaughn should be in movies again” idea.

“It seems to speak to an attitude inside the business that creative types are easily replaced so need not be treated with respect.”

No, that would be a Fish burn.

A conversation with my 13-year old after reading this ‘news’ article:

Me: Hey, do you know the youtube guy, Dream, who does Minecraft videos?
Son: Uhh, yeah. Why?
Me: Do you know he revealed his face recently?
Son: <looks around> So?

That pretty much sums it up.

“Doodles” Weaver

Any man who has to capitulate to other people’s conception of masculinity in order to be a man is already probably failing at being a man by his own standards. There’s nothing funnier than a guy trying so hard to be “masculine” that he emasculates himself by trying so hard to impress other dudes.

How it got into my pajamas, I’ll never know!

“Intimacy Contractor Footwear”

Sure, but the profile really hoisted him by his own petard. The quotes are insufferable.

Brian Cox and Kieran Culkin aren’t outsiders.

Ridley Scott in hooker boots? Wow!

Actors really have no sense of humor about their “craft.”

I kind of object to these silly modifiers, like “massive recession” for a recession that hasn’t even happened yet, or “hyperinflation” for 8 or 9% inflation (for the record, technically, hyperinflation means 50%). The American thirst for drama, I suppose.

We sure she’s not?

I saw it this weekend and trust me, it won’t be for this one ;-).

When can I preorder the leather bound print edition of The AV Club Reports on Don’t Worry Darling Volume One?

Glad to see MacLachlan giving The Hidden a shout-out. A completely underrated gem of a movie — right up there with Tremors in the now-extinct genre of “movies you’d find on the back shelf of your video store, rent on a whim and then spend the next two years forcing all of your friends to watch.”

I don’t think that’s ever the right response to a person who was manipulated and used up for money as a child.

Feels like 2 Days in the Valley to me.
