Hell, I’m writing a check right now. Being a wealthy Nigerian businessman, I’m going to make the check for $5,000,000. More than enough to cover the cost of the car and I’ll even allow him to deposit half in his account if he’ll send the other half back to me.

Right, in boot camp we used to literally sleep while walking the perimeter.  Secret meditation my ass!

Sweet baby Jesus! That thing is magnificent. I think we would have to put that one in the plus column in the never ending air vs water debate. I’d move to a third world country to be able to drive that!  Or Oklahoma, same thing.

Fuck that guy. Sincerest condolences for the innocent victims.  A 12 year old...

Could not agree more, but remember the old adage.  Steal a little, they throw you in jail.  Still a lot and they’ll make you a king!  I’ll  be rather surprised if there is any punishment beyond a small monetary penalty...$100M or less.

Dear Fancy Kristen,

I did radiation when I had throat cancer, and the hardest thing for me was the kids that were doing that or chemo. Funny thing is, they take it better than we do. I used to think they simply didn’t comprehend what was happening, but they figure it out and it doesn’t bother them the same was it gets to adults. They

Right? My Z06 was $107K on the sticker. I don’t see a ton of the “younger crowd” lining up for that.  I don’t see this one being any cheaper.

I think Porsche could tweak the head and taillights ever couple years and sell the 911 forever.  I’ve got a Corvette, couldn’t be happier, but that car is quite possibly one of the most iconic out there.

I was all set to buy it...then as I was scrolling, I saw it.  Right hand drive!  Nope!  Still, nice ride.  I see these blitzing up and down the autobahn when I’m in Germany.  Rockets!

Given they crashed such a short distance from the airport, I wonder if they didn’t forget to lower the flaps, took off, and stall due to lack of adequate lift. Wouldn’t be the first time a crew blew the checklist and failed to lower the flaps for takeoff. Obviously, pure speculation on my part.

That’s awesome...

Right? I fly on military aircraft as part of my job at Boeing and couldn’t agree more with this assessment. During one of my swim quals, we had to go in the dunk seat with blinding goggles on. Once submerged, upside down, we had to “escape” escape the dunk seat by undoing the harness, opening the window latch and

They’ll definitely let you know in Germany. Flashing lights when they’re further back, then once they’re on you they turn on their left blinker to let you know they can’t go left so you need to go right. Love driving over there.

Holy revived threads, Batman.

My current rental car is nowhere near the level of sophistication of the BMW, but I definitely know what you mean about crappy lane assist. I decided to drive from Munich to Nurnberg (about 2 hours north) and turned the lane assist on, just to give it a go. I couldn’t get past the awkward feeling of the car putting

It’s not terribly surprising given the car is from Bavaria. Here in Munich, people smoke pretty much anywhere. If you’re at a restaurant or biergarten, they won’t smoke inside, but if you’re seated outside the person next to you will light up without a second thought. They’re over the whole second hand smoke thing.

I feel your pain...literally. I had a ball crawl up the inside of my thigh and get me pretty squarely. Pitched straight forward onto my face and curled into a ball. Not good.

I’ve watched a ton of ZR1 videos now and it appears that car is no joke. I like my Z06 but damn!!!

I was thinking that same thing. Global economy goes into deep recession, folks lose careers, folks lose homes...banks are doing better than ever and none of the folks that created all that havoc were charged with anything. It’s like working at Bank of America or Goldman Sachs is a get out of jail free job.
