Hmmm... I'm not normally a racing game fan but this does sound pretty darned good from the review above.

@Griffehpoo: The most common counter is the semtex. They chuck it on to the shield and then boom your dead (unless you have blast shield equipped), also rifles and LMG's with FMJ go through it (and the 50 cal sniper goes through it like its butter too)... but I still keep a build with riot shield for shits and…

@Griffehpoo: Yeah that's the combo that I like too. Also if you crouch behind your shield people often run right passed you and then you pick them off from behind with the throwing knife.

@Rakkoon: I like the unlock function as it gives you something to aim for. If you had access to all of the weapons etc from the start then you wouldn't have the fun of trying all the weapons, unlocks, perks etc as you go along and find what works for you.

So I started the game on Hardened just to make it a bit more challenging and so far am loving the single player.
