@Doctor2B: Yup I totally agree that the Star Wars Old Republic MMO will probably be the main contender. All I am saying is that the more companies get involved in this space the more chance there is of someone making a WoW beater.

@Slagathorian: Have to disagree with you all I'm afraid. If no one challenges WoW then no one will ever knock them off of their spot.

Wait just one cotton picking moment!! What's with the Scot's being singled out in their poster campaign??

@GigerPunk: Ah but as a Jock I am both a lover and a fighter :o) but McLuvin&BawKickinToo! seemed a bit much for a user ID to me. Interesting head wear choice there for the Welsh. Very usefull camoflage if you just so happened to fall down in a field of leeks though! You know... when you are chasing down the sheep in

@GigerPunk: Sorry I am a fighter so Joe Calzaghe popped into my head first... rapidly followed by "the only gay in the village" and then the leek. Why a leek by the way? Scotland has the thistle, pretty to look at but a bit prickly if held the wrong way. Same for the English rose. What are the Welsh trying to tell us

@-MasterDex-: Hot-diggity-darn I loves Guiness I does. And according to articles on the BBC site it is officially good for you!

@ReconToaster.: *grumble* Just a small peevish comment I know but... the UK also comprises of Scotland (Woot! Go Haggis!), Northern Ireland (Yay Guinness!) and Wales too (Ummm... go Joe Calzaghe!?) just as a by the by. :o)

@Grifflame: You know what I would love to agree with you. I love CCG's for the depth of strategic play available and I still have copies of Yugioh games on the game boy emulator on my Nokia.

@ToastyUterus: Don't forget the iPhone app that they have launched to support this game as well. Personally I think this is one of the best supported titles - post launch - that I have seen.

All this talk about Street Fighter and King of Fighters... that stuff is for amateurs! :o)

This is rubbish news. However all is not doom and gloom. An old martial arts instructor of mine is fighting liver cancer just now and with a positive mental attitude, the right mind set and pro-active self treatment with supplements etc he is beating it too. Cancer to him is just another opponent and the word quit is

**Insert bitter fanboy comment here**

You see... I have space in my life for a space based MMO. Yes indeedy I do. However... do I have space in my life for TWO space based MMO's? Not really no. See where I am going with this?

Stop. Stop!! Can't you see what you are doing you fools?! This is like pitting an unstoppable force against an immovable object. By casting these two titans together in combat you are threatening the very fabric of the universe! Even now reality as we know it is being unravelled, space time paradoxes are being created

You know what... this sort of thing really gets my goat.
