I'm confused.

But it looks so damn good.

Anyone else bothered by the shadow?

My parents helped me with my first car purchase as a teenager after I told them I was looking to purchase a vehicle and showed them a list of things I could afford. The list? 1. A high mileage Geo Tracker. 2. Motorcycles.

Looking at these puts me in a really good mood.

Nah. I think they want safety.

Good points about the IQ/Fortwo comparison. And about the GTI - yeah, I've been extremely impressed. A lot of that can be attributed to the extremely long 6th gear. My only real gripe is the generated engine noise in sport mode. It sounds great under hard acceleration but annoying when cruising at a steady RPM.

Maybe I'm being too hard on it. I also think the IQ has better packaging though and is a more compelling alternative. I drive a 2015 GTI manual now. Just as a reference point I get 33-35 mpg on long trips and 26 around town driving with a lead foot.

With steel.

and the lightest CTS is 3616 lbs.

What disappointed me most was the MPG. You would expect something as light as the SmartCar and with such a small engine to get better mileage.

This is so satisfying.

An overpriced car with a pretentious name car that's un-usably tiny, underpowered and relatively thirsty for fuel? Nice try Smart ForTwo. At least your advertising team has a sense of humor.

You're probably thinking "has this guy gone mad? What's a Cadillac doing on a list of the worst German cars?" However, this Caddy was made in Germany and was simply a rebadged Opel Omega. The Catera weighed 3,900 lbs and had to make do with a 200 hp V6.

Wouldn't a 4C be horrifically uncomfortable over a long trip?

It was not inevitable you twit.

For all we know, it could just be a lie you've gotten really deep into these last 8(?) Years.

Targeted advertising has gone too far.

Everyone's always looking for a fight around here. I'm not justifying the cop being a douche, I'm just saying that Sam is also dumb for exceeding the posted limit by 80%.

No such thing as bad press.
