That’s why I said to have them on 2 separate days. I was thinking maybe they can hold the NASCAR race the week prior, but that’s when Formula D uses the course for their Round 1.

That’s actually an improvement. Moving the 400 to October and having the 500 in February means having the races during the fall is best for people there to enjoy both races. Temps are going to be in the 70s and 80s rather than being in the high 90s for the 400.
Joint weekends at Long Beach and St. Pete. Do you realize how much money both would be bring in?
But you care enough to comment. Plus, there are people who disagree with you.
Removing the Coke Zero 400 would be like removing some other historically significant sporting event. There is history in that race. Plus, it pulls in hundreds of millions in revenue for the state of Florida. You have the Great American Race in February, and then celebrate America at one of the most American…
Boy, you sure do have a hard on for hating Ford...
It looks so boring compared to the competition. The Hyundai Veloster N is so much better looking.
And again, proving my point that you completely missed the point of his comment. Read the comment he is responding to.
Congratulations on completely missing the point of his comment.
This is a test vehicle and was a new vehicle they built specifically for this race. A lot of newly built race vehicles don’t finish because a part that hadn’t been tested enough broke.
It was running the 2.7L Ecoboost as confirmed on the unveiling article in the comments.
Where does it say what class it competed in? Because the website is down and the article doesn’t say that.
Well it’s not a supplier. It was an aftermarket part, meaning that this part is not factory and was most likely used for the rear radiator that all Baja competitors use.
The engine, chassis, and suspension were all factory. This is a test vehicle. This was explained in the previous articles about this vehicle. Plus, it was running in a class that prohibited any modification to the vehicle other than the body. The 1st and 2nd gen Raptors ran in this very same class years prior.
This was in develop long before they hired him...
It wouldn’t annoy me as much if he wasn’t saying he was trying to compete with Ford, Chevy, and Rivian. All 3 make considerably better looking pickups, especially Rivian. They actually look like what you think a pickup would look like. This...just looks like the car I drew back in 3rd grade on the front of my 3 ring…
It’s linked in the article that you seemed to have just skimmed through to get to the comments.
Can more manufacturers keep using forged carbon? I love how it looks on some cars. It looks absolutely sexy on this car.
The “dog dishes” on the current (sadly cancelled) Beetle are a nice touch as well.
So you’re just going to single out one of Toyota’s many sports cars from that era that have been long gone since then (minus the Supra that just made a return)?
