There’s quite a reward for both rider and bull, especially if it’s the PBR. The bulls are paid a shit ton. Riders get paid 6 digits a year.

The flank is before the balls. The flank rope is tied around the flank and tightened to make it just unconformtable and not painful. Plus, the area of the flank is pure solid muscle. It can’t be tightened to make it painful unless you had an electric pulley system yanking it since a human wouldn’t be able to.
