People misuse the term. filler only applies when adapting source material from a novel or manga, where the animation has either caught up to the manga or they are trying to stretch out the action to fill 26 episodes.

That used to fly 10 years ago. But after years and years of over promicing and under delivering, it seems shady now and not "swinging for the fences". I've seen games with a quarter of the budget do things more impressive than any Fable game. It's an act, and we are all fools for buying into it as long as we have.

This is how I felt when I played Bioshock Infinite. The best part of the games is before you get a gun, and then afterward it just felt like I should have been taking the city down from the inside, undercover, instead of killing everything in my path.
