I... What? We are just arguing semantics now. SMT just stands for Shin Megami Tensei. They are all Megaten or SMT. It's just the popular name for the franchise. I believe there was only one actual Megami Tensei game for NES based on the book of the same name.

But it is part of the SMT series. It plays like a Megaten game, it looks like a Megaten game, it IS a Megaten game.

The only hope I have is the Mario RPG team is really good at bringing in obscure details from the Mario canon for comedic effect. I think it is more prevalent in the Paper Mario series but here's to hoping.

The 3D aspect of it is still really impressive. Especially in Fire Emblem. The snow effects and depth of field are just stunning. It might not have the resolution of the Vita, but if 3D doesn't give you headaches, I usually find the 3D effect more impressive.
