It seems to me that the people who are saying, "I'm tired of them never changing the games" are just saying that because it makes them seem cool and edgy. The fact is every main Mario game changes up the formula. Was there anything like Mario Galaxy before it. No there wasn't. And even if MG2 was a sequel it still…

What "new IP" has the staying power of 25+ years that has come out this console cycle?

I'm excited. Wii gets a lot of hate from hardcore gamers, but honestly I haven't touched my 360 in over a year, and all I have been playing the last 4 months are Mario Galaxy 2, NSMBWii, both RE shooters which are excellent, No More Heroes 2, etc.

Watch the above video. It even shows Claire in Mercenaries 3D. I'd say that is a confirmation.

I was actually surprised to learn a couple of days ago it wasn't launching with the Virtual Console store.

This is one of those movies where the more bad reviews it gets the more excited I am to see it.

DS was the same way and everyone traded their DSs for PSPs, and then bought DS Lites when they realized the games were better. It will take them about a year or two to realize how to use the system properly.

I have a feeling Nintendo has more of an invested interest in AR than they do 3D. If what Miyamoto (or was it Iwata?) said was true that 3D wasn't the main focus of the handheld, I have a feeling AR was and their long term goals will reflect that.

Nope. I'm sure there will be a few that I convince myself are worth it, but anyone can tell that most the Day 1 launch games are shovelware.

The thing that worries me the most is the US launch lineup is absolutely pathetic. I think it will loose a lot of steam right off the bat when people say, "these games are crap." And then think that is indicative of the system.

How strange. I just recently got into Touhou and have been loving all the fan games, and feel some of them are better than the original works (certainly the art in most cases). I will be really upset if this vastly changes things.
